FrancigenaWays.com / CaminoWays.com organise regular FREE Camino de Santiago and Via Francigena live talks and information evenings with our partners across Ireland. All walking enthusiasts who register for the talks learn about the history of the Camino, useful travel advice, tips and insights into each route. Our talks take place in Dublin, Cork, Sligo, Westport, Limerick and Galway.
Our talks at outdoor clothing specialist 53 Degrees North take place each month in Cork and Dublin. We have also recently launched online webinars so you can join us from anywhere in the world. Check out our schedule and register for our upcoming talks here: Camino talks 2016. If you’d like us to host a talk near you, let us know.
The last Sunday of every month, the FrancigenaWays.com team heads out for a walk, usually in the Dublin/Wicklow Mountains. We prepare a nice route, usually under 10km long, and meet in the morning at an arranged point. Whether you are preparing for the Via Francigena or just like the idea of being active and enjoy the outdoors, our preparation walk is great healthy fun.
If you are part of a charity group heading to the Via Francigena or the Camino contact email@example.com to arrange a specific preparation walk for your group.
For the past few years we have hosted a walking festival in Ireland to celebrate Saint James Day. It was a great day out for all walking enthusiasts to join us in a fun-filled day of adventure; with guided walks, food and entertainment for all to enjoy. In 2016, we joined the Kerry Camino in the beautiful Dingle Peninsula for a superb 3-day walking festival. Stay tuned for our big walking events for 2017!
We run special competitions and giveaways with our partners: books, tickets to events, outdoor gear or even a Via Francigena trip!
Each year we run the Greenlife Fund to support a special environmental or responsible travel project that inspires us.
It is part of our company ethos to give back to the communities that we are involved with and we are delighted to support inspiring projects through the Greenlife Fund.
Read more about Greenlife Fund winning projects, as well as submission guidelines to submit your project for next year’s fund.
